Established in 2023, the HonkyTonk Daycare Band, was born out of weekly, afternoon, jam sessions at the Music City Bar & Grill, in Nashville, TN.  Three young boys, Kash Whitley Mellons (11) Caysen Hammonds (11) and Ryman Shafer Frizzell (7) grew up in the Nashville music scene, naturally gravitating to pure country  and the stage, by the time they could walk.  

After months of Jam sessions, the boy's made their official band debut, during the 2023 Keith Whitley Tribute concert, at the Nashville Palace, opening the show for Lorrie Morgan, Jesse Keith Whitley, Ken Mellons and T Graham Brown, among others. The boy's brought the house down, earning a standing ovation, and an invite to play the 24' show. 

On the heels of the Whitley show, the band began to book their show around Nashville, making appearances at R.O.P.E. (Reunion of Professional Entertainers,) The Station Inn, The Troubadour Nashville and the TN State Fair.

The HonkyTonk Daycare Band is currently booking for the rest of 2023 and 2024.
